Gigafactories Built for India and the World
Solar, Battery, and Wind Infrastructure Engineered for Scale
Australis New Energy’s Company B is building some of the largest and most advanced manufacturing facilities for solar PV modules, lithium-ion battery cells, and wind turbine components in India. With gigawatt-scale production targets, these plants serve not only domestic demand but also global markets through competitive exports. By integrating automation, AI-driven quality control, and cutting-edge production technologies, we match the standards set by global leaders like LONGi, CATL, and First Solar.
Our 10 GW solar module factory and 20 GWh battery manufacturing plant, located in Maharashtra, are backed by the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and aligned with India’s mission to be a renewable manufacturing hub. These facilities are critical to achieving energy self-reliance while creating over 10,000 green jobs.
End-to-End Integration Across the Value Chain
From Silicon Ingot to Storage System – All Under One Roof
What sets Company B apart is its vertical integration. We produce everything from solar wafers and cells to battery electrode materials and pack assemblies. Our operations span polysilicon purification, ingot pulling, wafer slicing, cell fabrication, module lamination, and final packaging — all using 100% renewable power.
The battery division mirrors this strategy with integrated cell chemistry lines, thermal management systems, and Battery Management Systems (BMS). These closed-loop processes reduce waste, enhance quality, and ensure backward compatibility with AI-driven platforms developed by Company K. With every unit manufactured, we are shrinking India’s carbon footprint.
Strategic Partnerships and Licensing of Frontier Technologies
Collaborating with Global Innovators to Leapfrog Tech Cycles
To stay ahead of the innovation curve, we’ve entered into licensing and co-development partnerships with global tech leaders in solar and battery technology. This includes heterojunction (HJT) solar cell production, sodium-ion battery chemistries, and blade-less wind turbine systems under development with EU startups.
These collaborations ensure Australis produces the most efficient, reliable, and bankable clean energy components in the world. Moreover, our in-house R&D center, “Australis Lab 2070,” collaborates with CSIRO (Australia), Fraunhofer ISE (Germany), and IIT Bombay to accelerate indigenous IP development and increase localization across component value chains.
Sustainable, Transparent, and Scalable Manufacturing
Designed for Circularity, Certified for Impact
Each of our manufacturing units is certified under ISO 14001, 45001, and RE100. They are designed for circularity with near-zero waste policies, on-site water recycling, and heat recovery systems. Every batch of solar panels and battery cells is QR-coded and traceable through our AI-powered ESG tracker.
Our advanced energy audits and GHG emission monitoring systems help us meet global investors’ Scope 1 and 2 compliance standards. By integrating circular economy principles and exporting from India with transparent sustainability credentials, we’re creating new export champions for the clean energy age.
