Our Upcoming Projects
Planned Infrastructure for a Carbon-Neutral India
While Australis New Energy has not yet commissioned projects in India, our leadership team and global advisors bring decades of experience delivering multi-GW renewable energy assets, utility-scale storage systems, and hydrogen-ready infrastructures worldwide. Our India roadmap is under advanced development, with multiple project proposals, feasibility studies, and land & policy alignments currently underway. Below is a showcase of our planned project categories, aligned with India’s 500 GW non-fossil energy vision and global decarbonization goals.
Flagship Parks & Infrastructure
Planning India’s Next-Gen Renewable Zones
We are currently in the master planning stage of large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy parks across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. These flagship zones will integrate battery storage, hydrogen hubs, and grid-tied infrastructure under one cohesive layout.
Our site selection is informed by solar irradiance maps, wind corridors, and transmission access. Once operational, these parks will form the cornerstone of India’s green energy corridors, with Australis New Energy leading execution in design, technology, and global partnerships.
Manufacturing Plants & Gigafactories
Laying the Foundation for India’s Green Manufacturing Backbone
Australis New Energy is finalizing detailed project reports for lithium battery and solar PV module manufacturing plants in Pune and Aurangabad. These gigafactories will target both domestic demand under the PLI scheme and export opportunities to MENA and Southeast Asia.
The project pipeline includes:
- A 5 GW solar module line
- A 10 GWh Li-ion battery pack facility
- In-house AI-integrated testing and automation systems
Our manufacturing vision is backed by a team that has commissioned over 3 million sq. ft. of factory space across Asia-Pacific in past roles.
Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Clusters
Future Export Hubs Linked to Global Supply Chains
We are in advanced discussions with port authorities and state governments to establish green hydrogen and ammonia production clusters in coastal Maharashtra and Gujarat. These will include:
- Electrolyzer deployment in 100 MW+ capacity
- Ammonia conversion and storage
- Dedicated export terminals to Japan, Korea, and EU markets
Feasibility assessments and techno-commercial due diligence are being carried out in collaboration with global hydrogen consultants from Australia and Europe.
EV Charging & HCV Corridors
Electrifying India's National Logistics Arteries
Australis New Energy is working with infrastructure planners to deploy EV highway charging and HCV swap stations across key freight corridors such as the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Chennai-Bangalore Industrial Belt.
Our plan includes:
- Multi-megawatt charging stations for heavy vehicles
- Battery swap infrastructure for 2W/3W logistics fleets
- Solar + BESS powered charging architecture
These corridors are in the design validation phase with support from global logistics tech partners and Indian transport authorities.
Battery Storage Installations
Unlocking Resilient Power for India’s Grid and Industry
Australis New Energy is in the early planning stages for grid-scale and commercial BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. We aim to commission pilot installations by FY26 in partnership with private C&I consumers.
Ongoing activities:
- Site and load profiling for microgrid deployments
- Project designs with hybrid solar + storage models
- Vendor negotiations for LFP, solid-state, and flow battery chemistries
These projects will serve as replicable models to unlock decentralized energy storage across India.
